Until I had to figure that I don't wanna play around, but I don't wanna settle down and that's a man's dilemma. -Phonte
It happens to every great player or manager when it’s time to hang up the jersey and leave the game for good, move on to marriage, mortgage, and kids. Sometimes they stay to long in the game and the game doesn’t love them back, or keep playing the game until there is nothing left to accomplish & you've left where you were happiest. I mean you don't want to end up like Robbie Fowler playing at a poor standard dragging put what's left of your career and living off your past do you?! You also have to be careful of leaving when you're happy for a so called 'dream move' just like Robbie Keane when he went to Liverpool from Spurs, luckily he got back to Spurs, but remember women are not as forgiving as football teams and their fans! so we the folks at society blame game like to bring to you 5 signs when it’s time to leave the game for good.
1. If you’re getting tired of going to the clubs and bars and just prefer a night in with netflix - why chase skirt in a club when you are happy at home with what you have, be smart about it, the clubs aint going anywhere, they're still gonna be there if negotiations break down or come to an end!
2. Been in a relationship for over three years - 3 years is a long time for a relationship, it's natural that a woman (& some men) start thinking about marriage and kids after the 3 years, this is when you decide wether it's time to sign that contract extension and commit for the long haul!
3. Making long term plans with your significant others - if your making plans for the future then you have already made your mind up! she's a keeper! time to leave the game!
4. Jump off are getting knocked up or married - if the jump offs are getting married, pregnant &/or settling down then where are you gonna go on those lonely single nights? if they are settling down then it's time for yo to leave the game!
5. If she was born in 1995 it’s time to hang it up - if they're born in 1995 it means they're 16! think if it in football terms, if you as a manager discover a young bit of talent you get them tied down on a long contract and you keep them for as long as possible! it's the same with a girl, if she's young and 'talented' then you keep her! you leave the game!

Winter Break
by Saacey Bill
Some players like to take a winter break from the dating game, for a few reasons, whether its to avoid Christmas shopping, spending time with a girls family, or they want to spend the Christmas with family and New Year with friends! Whatever the reasons there are positives & negatives to a winter break from dating... So, we at society blame game have complied a list & small explanation of the best positives and negatives regarding a winter break from dating!
The positives to having a winter break are:
1. No Christmas shopping - no need to stress yourself put finding the 'perfect present' for someone who is probably not going to be around next Christmas! The money you would have spent on a present can go towards some new threads, kicks, rims, a weekend away, some beats headphone, anything that takes your fancy!
2. Not having to spend time at the in laws over the festive period - for us not having to receive some awful jumper or some cheap ass socks that will hole after one wear is a good thing, not having to see your girls over protective old man, or put up with her annoying mother & her fake conscientiousness!
3. Spending time with family & friends - Nothing beats sitting around the table on Christmas day with your loved ones and then calling out to see your friends & have a few cold ones in the evening!
4. Single Girls - single girls go out with there other single girlfriends this time of year & they can be picked up or 'scouted' easily
The negatives to having a winter break are:
1. Not getting festive sex - Along with valentines day, anniversaries and birthdays, Christmas is a time you can buy your girl some lingerie & with some other carefully chosen gifts, can put your girl in a generous and loving mood! This can only result in a happy ending for you! So to not get this would be a bonus!
2. Lack of available women- Around this time of year a lot of women like to get into relationships the cold weather and prolonged indoor activities leads to a lot of women getting into relationships.
3. Cover up- The winter leads to women covering up meaning no more short shorts or skirts, summer dresses are replaced with sweats and uggs.

Throw Back Thursday's
Back in the early to mid-90’s Bad Boy Records was one of the hottest labels in the industry at that the time for R&B and Hip Hop. Back when R&B boy bands were a dime dozen Bad Boy Records had one of those bands in 112, who had hits such as Cupid, Anywhere, Only You, and Love You Like I did. 112 released a remix to their song Only You which featured the late Notorious B.I.G and Mase. The song was released June 27th 1996 peaked at 13 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at 3 on the Billboard Hot R&B singles. At the end of the year the song was at number 34 on Hot 100, as of now 112 haven’t released an album since their 2005 release Pleasure and Pain.
So for our Throwback Thursday is 112 Featuring Biggie and Mase Only You (Remix)
**Disclaimer – Sorry for the bad video couldn’t find a good quality on youtube.

Throw Back Thursdays
Throw Back Thursday is going to be a new segment on Society Blame Game, where every Thursday we will be playing a song from back in day. By doing this we are respecting the previous artists that paved the way for future artists and to bring awareness to some great music.
The year was 1998 when Jon B released his smash single They Don’t Know produced by Tim & Bob from his now classic album Cool Relax. The song went on to peak number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 and ended the year on the Billboard Hot 100 at number thirty-nine.
So here is the first joint for Throwback Thursday Jon B. – They Don’t Know

Innocent Until Proven Guilty
“Your white friend said these n****s crazy, I hope no-one heard that, cause if they we gone be in some trouble.” – Drake – Marvin’s Room
By T33side86
Race and racial equality seems to have become a modern issue again, with two high profile racial abuse cases ongoing in the limelight of the Premier League, I’ve decided to blog about it, as you pretty much can’t ignore it at the moment.
The main issue I want to write about is John Terry, defender, and captain of England and Chelsea Football Club.
In case you don’t know the background, Terry was apparently accused of using a racial slur against black player Anton Ferdinand, and opponent during Chelsea’s fixture on 23rdOctober 2011.
The accusations were leveled at him following a video which emerged, with no audio, but his lip movements seemed to mimic what seemed like the words black and c**t. Anyway, since most people already know most of the background, there’s no need to dwell on that.
After months of waiting, with no apparent decision in the pipeline, the incident has been taken to court. In my view, this is an issue that is bigger than football. Now, Terry is innocent. Present tense. Until he’s tried, and sufficient evidence has been considered, and if the outcome of the trial is a guilty verdict, then he is still innocent, and he must be seen as innocent (UK Laws).
This is from a purely legal viewpoint.
In terms of the England team, I think he should never have been re-issued the England Captaincy. Despite whether they should or not, kids look up to the likes of Terry, and thus he should be a positive role model in his position. The Wayne Bridge/Vanessa Peronccel incident was enough alone to justify him being outcast from England permanently.
It is clear that Terry’s moral compass is way off the mark, so to find that he did indeed use racist language would not be so much of a surprise. However for the time being he must be considered innocent. The man himself is a total disgrace in the way he behaves off the pitch, and this is something which doesn’t need proving in court, it’s something we all know.
A man should only be given so many chances, and Terry is fast running out.

J.Cole 11-19-2011 - O2 Academy Sheffield, England Show
Fresh from supporting Tinie Tempah on his UK arena tour, J. Cole embarked on a gig tour of England, headlining his own show in the country for the first time. It was his first chance to showcase a full set list of his three mix tapes and debut studio album Cole World: The Sideline Story.
In contrast to many recent hip hop gigs I've been to, the audiences were mainly mid to late 20's males, and the atmosphere was of a raw, club gig full of hip hop heads. Cole came onto stage after an impressive set from his DJ to Cole World - which got the crowd pumped straight away, people reciting each line word for word.
He swerved from mix tape to album, and back to mix tape. Thanking fans and talking to the crowd in between each track, showing his humble, grateful nature for the success he's experiencing.
He rattled off the big songs with Rise and Shine, Mr Nice Watch and In The Morning, then took the show into an almost lull, and became the first rapper I've seen perform sitting down, as he pulled out a stool to perform his emotive track Lost Ones. Nobody's Perfect and Daddy's Little Girl also followed.
He continued to get the crowd singing along in a deafening chorus, when he played the keyboard intro to Lights Please. Then Cole proceeded to ask which fans had purchased his album, and each of his mix tapes, drawing nostalgic approval from his more long term fans, but still involving the newer crowd in the venue.
Cole has a natural stage presence, and he showed this from start to finish, looking comfortable, and working the energy in the room, before launching into an encore with his track Farewell from Friday Night Lights, saying farewell to his audience, addressing almost everyone individually.
Cole showed that his passion for the music in the studio is genuine, as well as his talent, and this ranks up there with one of my best gigs.
On a side note; the venue was very accessible, service at the bar was quick, there was no overcrowding, and the sound system was crisp and clear.
