When you think of Minnesota you often associated cold weather, Minnesota Vikings and Prince, people who are from the South like me can only mention a couple of rappers from Minnesota (no disrespect) shout out to Brother Ali, Atmosphere, and Rhymesayers Entertainment. It’s just that Minnesota's state neighbors like Michigan, Illinois and Ohio have been shining and having constant artists coming out underground and mainstream. Artists such as Eminem and Big Sean from Detroit Michigan, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco from Chicago Illinois, and representing Ohio you got acts such as Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Kid Cudi, Stalley, and Machine Gun Kelly. I came across a talented artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota and his name is Xavier Marquis, who recently release his new Mixtape; The X-flies Mixtape: Episode 2. The great thing about Xavier is he produces his own beats and sings as well, download the mixtape you won’t be disappointed.
